6th Annual Guidant Olympics: Potluck Party and Closing Ceremonies

The week-long Olympics festivities came to a close today with a potluck lunch and the official Closing Ceremonies, hosted by Jeremy.

Here were some of the yummy dishes we made for our country-themed potluck:

Roasted Duck from Team France
Pyramid Rice Krispie Treats and Sand Bars from Team Egypt

Shortbread from Team Scotland

Pulled Pork from Team Brazil
Beer from Team Germany

As for the extra medal competitions, this is how it broke down:

Spirit
Bronze = Brazil
Silver = Egypt
Gold = Scotland
Costumes
Bronze = France
Silver = Tahiti
Gold = Germany
Food
Bronze = Brazil/France/Scotland/Mexico (four-way tie)
Silver = Egypt
Gold = Germany
 
And the final, 6th Annual Guidant Olympics Medals went to:

Bronze = Germany

  Silver = Egypt

Gold = Brazil
Congratulations to all of the teams for great participation and spirit!
